We're almost half way to SPACtacular 2013, so I think it's time to come up with some options of what to do while we're there. Here are some ideas from last years trip!!
1. Stay at the Gideon Putnam! Unfortunately with the concert falling on Memorial Day, the rates were through the roof, so this year we have the pleasure of staying at The Comfort Inn. Maybe we can find someone who's staying at the hotel and crash on their floor. Could work!2. If you can't stay at the hotel, you definitely have to drink at the hotel bar. Really cool place!3. Consume large amounts of alcohol prior to the show. Be sure to STOP drinking 3 hours beforehand so as to not fall down or anything of that nature.4. After consuming large amounts of alcohol, act like 20 year olds in the hotel lobby. You'll fit right in.5. Talk to strange men. Especially security guards who will let you get close enough to see Dave's sexy mother f**** a**.6. Refer to the aforementioned sexy mother f****.7. Talk to more strange men. And don't forget to drink $11 Bud Light beers and spend $150 on booze during the show.8. Scam the system and do NOT sit in your assigned seats. Did I mention talking to strange men??9. Visit the Main Street area. Sometimes you'll hit a parade for some random holiday. Just another reason to drink.10/11. Get some much needed oxygen treatments to treat that nasty hangover courtesy of your thoughtful friends who aren't hungover.12/13. Visit the racetrack for some gambling and $2 PBRs that fill from the bottom!! This is a very refreshing change to the $11 beers from the night before you don't remember drinking 10 of.14. Laugh til you cry at the empty racetrack while onlookers roll their eyes at you.15. Make fun of the lesbian in the rocking chair reading to her girlfriend in the park while you watch the strangest wedding take place 50 feet away from where you're drinking. (Red flag when your future husband grabs your arm firmly and moves you to where you need to be at the alter)16. Have an epic time with great friends surrounded by Dave lovers that totally GET you! (Debbie and Tracy we will miss you this year!! We'll always have 2012!)**Sidenote: Be prepared to do some of this when you return home.
